Calling all heavy hitters, bike park senders and big mountain brawlers, this one’s for you. The new eOne-Eighty has landed and it’s ready to ride the biggest lines and burliest tracks.
You can say goodbye to waiting in the uplift queue because it can rip and repeat all day long thanks to a big 800 Wh battery and Bosch CX power. It’s Merida's longest travel e-bike ever, with 180 mm of suspension at either end and a robust aluminium frame. Add coil shock compatibility, mixed wheel size only setup and a whole host of other features and getting rowdy is where the eOne-Eighty starts, not finishes. Up or down, it’s ready to rock.

This is also their first e-MTB to use the Bosch Performance Line CX drive unit, offering powerful assistance and silent performance with 85 Nm on tap. There’s a serious amount of range thanks to the new 800 Wh battery and an option to add a 250 Wh range extender.

The new eOne-Eighty is highly capable, whether you’re getting sendy in the bike park or tackling super enduro laps in the mountains it won’t disappoint. The geometry and handling are balanced with enough pop to put a smile on your face when sideways mid air/mid corner/mid everywhere but stable enough for the most chaotic tracks when playtime is over and you want to get the hammer down.

Want numbers? A 64.5º head angle creates a planted front end, a 78.5º seat tube angle keeps you in the right place on steep climbs and there’s a stack height of 661 mm and reach of 460 mm for the Mid frame.

The Agilometer sizing system allows you to select your frame size based on your handling preference. Instead of seat tube length the bike size is based on the reach measurement. Opt for a longer frame size for a more stable ride or a shorter frame size for a more agile, flickable feeling. Mid sized frames offer a balance of both.

Small, Medium and Large sizes have become Short, Mid and Long so just go with your regular frame size if you’re not sure what you want.

The eOne-Eighty wheels are strictly mullet setup, unlike the choice offered on other models. This provides extra clearance and agility, it’s great fun to ride

A frame that’s built to send and last.
Years of experience of working with aluminium have honed the performance of our 6061 series aluminium alloy. This is hydroformed into shape and the main triangle is robot welded before being finished by hand in our factory in Taiwan. It’s rated for Category 5 riding so you can get stuck into as many bike park laps or downhill tracks as you like without voiding the 5-year warranty.

Easy battery swap and space for water or a range extender
The battery can easily be removed for off bike charging or replacement on a really big ride thanks to a frame cut out. A new cover protects from dirt, impact and moisture, holding itself in place with Fidlock magnets.
There’s space in the front triangle for a water bottle or you can add a 250 Wh PowerMore range extender, available separately.

180 mm front and rear travel is perfect for rough trails.
A pivot point has been added on the seatstay in place of our flexstay system. This increases the travel, offering more movement between the chain and seat stays than a flex pivot can safely cope with. The yoke that drove the shock has been removed, saving weight, reducing complexity and creating a more compact design. This means less side loading on the shock; important on a bike that’s designed to be hammered all day long.

Designed to work with the latest highly linear air shocks such as the RockShox Vivid Air, it’s got a fully progressive leverage ratio that works well with coil s too. The sizetuned kinematics that increase progression as you move up the size range have been retained, enabling shorter, lighter riders to access full travel whilst heavier or taller riders get the bottom out support they need.

Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.
